Members garutter Posted September 1, 2010 Members Share Posted September 1, 2010 The Velocity is okay for a SS amp. There is no way it is ever going to sound as good as a mesa 20/20. If the clean sounds are a problem, I would suggest upgrading to a mesa 50/50 or similar.
