Members jrm27
Hey friends: Our drummer is using a Rolls Personal Monitor amp to blend a monitor signal and the click track he uses. However, sound is only coming out of one earpeice for him. His earpieces work perfectly with everything else. I am assuming that a jumper is set wrong. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks! Members pikappant82
Are you running stero or mono?
Members The Real MC
Rolls gears are not exactly reliable equipment.
Members soul-x
What Rolls PM is he using, what is he using for a click device, and what is he using for interconnects?
Members jrm27
He's using this product: This drum machine as a click: and just plugging his in-ears right into the front of the unit... no adapters.
Members soul-x
Is he using a TRS cable from the drum machine's Stereo (Phone) out to the PM's Monitor in? And is he using an XLR from your mixer's aux out to the PM mic in?
Members jrm27
Monitor In is actually a TRS from our mixer that carries the monitor signal. The click is being run into the "mic thru" with an XLR to TRS adapter cable.
Members UMT
Make sure your input signal cords are all STEREO cords. (1/4" cords that have TWO rings on the end. No offense intended if this part is obvious to you) His earphone/earbuds are only getting a mono signal, therefore he's only getting one actually working. I do a very similiar thing and I run the signal into a $20.00 Behringer headphone amp (Behringer Haters, please don't diss me!) and ye olde drummer loves it.
