Channel one has a hum and everything else works fine. Should be an easy fix, this is a 1980s device with 3280s, TL074s, 5532s, and no exotic parts. A lot of questionable solder joints though, obviously hand built. No schematics anywhere. According to an old catalog (there is nothing on the net on these things), this is a "side chain" design in which the VCA is only in the audio chain when attenuation is engaged. I had bought a Drawmer quad limiter for FOH as a protection device. This Loft unit is perfect for monitors (and a lot cheaper than the Drawmer!).
