Hi i need help to understand the correct reference shape for maj pentatonic

hi, i found a great book from france for pentatonic scale shapes, and i am learning these shapes by heart, and using it as a reference.

for a pentatonic major scale starting on a root note on the 6th string my book says shape number 1 for a note on the 5th string it says to use shape number 4.

 

then i found a website that says to use shape number 5 ( 6th string ) and number 3 ( 5th string). (https://www.guitarorb.com/guitar-scales/)

can you check out these visuals and tell me which method I should stick to or what I am not understanding ?
