The Paul Reed Smith Singlecut P245 is a vintage-inspired single cutaway guitar, perfect for guitarists who prefer a shorter scale length. This versatile instrument is equipped with a piezo system, giving the player sounds of the electric guitar as well as authentic acoustic tones. Two output jacks allow guitarists to plug into their favorite electric or acoustic guitar amp, or straight into the soundboard. With the separate blend control, the sounds of the P245 pickups can be combined with the piezo signal via a single output. The P245 uses PRS 58/15 treble and bass pickups, personally developed by Paul Reed Smith. These are vintage style pickups, with excellent clarity and a focused midrange. Together with the shorter 24.5" scale length, they give the P245 a truly classic tone, instantly recognizable and usable anywhere.
