Members Dogoth
I always thought that hospital grade outlets were expected to have a longer (therefore more dependable) service life. Sort of like Mil spec in that the design has undergone a more rigerous battery of tests (temp, duty cycle, humidity resistence etc...) and has a more active quality control. But is the actual end product design and materials any better than good quality (forget the cheap import stuff) comercial products? I doubt it. Members agedhorse
Nope, it's just a product designation to meet a specification. It does assure the user that it actually conforms to the applicable spec, whereas other products would have to be tested to be sure.
