It's priced at $50. Just wanted to know if it had a built in amp or whatnot, because it says powered mixer. Cant find ANY info online. Would only use it for playing an ipod through speakers and maybe some light band practice.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Oh -- The one built into the stand. And that's 2212D (for digital FX), which is why you aren't finding anything in your searches.

That was actually a pretty full-featured older powered mixer: 300 watts per channel, 2 monitor mixes, built in effects, inserts on every channel, etc.

Provided that it's working correctly, at $50 it would definitely do for your needs.

Heavy as hell and big too.

it's not that bad. it would pack in next to a couple of guitar or bass cases just fine. i used to work at a music store that was a fender dealer and the owner had one of those for his gigs for a while and it worked pretty well. not as full featured as what most people around here would want but as far as powered mixers go it's better than some.

I played in a band about 10 years ago with a guitar player who owned one of those. We used it for smaller gigs. The power amp is built into the stand/case, it's the grey box under the plug in your second pic. The combination stand/case was a really slick idea, too. There's not a ton of power, but enough for practice or a vox only PA in a coffee shop or pub gig.

For $50, whaddaya got to lose?
