What i would like to do is give it a "sandblasted" type of effect. Its my understanding that its tough without having an actual sand blaster and walnut shell powder. I have heard about some doing the effect with a sander or dremmel trype tool. Anyone do a build like that? or maybe well versed in milkpaint? Below is what I'm shooting for...
