Members jskinder
Hello, I used a set of Elite EF12P speakers for a live show and I noticed that they were really midi. No matter how I EQed it. Is there any idea's on how to clean it up? I'm using the Elite ES18P and they sound great. Also using Behringer XR18. Thanks, Jeff

Thanks, Jeff When you used the EF12p's were the subs used with them? I've used the older EF500p/Ls801pb combo and with subs the very top end of the horns was the only thing I though was lacking in that setup. How was source? Each channel ok? Sometimes when going to a different speaker it's best to reset everything on the desk and start over. Eq and everything that was setup for one brand/type system may be completely wrong for another. Members Shaster
Some of the older Yorkville 12" speakers were insanely mid biased. I have found the newer Yorkville PS12Ps and the not so new NX55Ps and such, to be quite smooth in comparison. I seem to recall that 400hz and 630hz had to be radically cut on the GEQ (or perhaps PEQ) in some of the older mid crazy speakers, like the Elite e210 and the Elite e12 - but YMMV. Perhaps the EF12Ps are based more on the EF500Ps which have a whole lot of midrange (tank like speakers though, with nice projection).
