Is shoe gazing the same as head downing and are either or both a fetal/security thing?

I had a great childhood, and often thing about calling it everyday. Only in my 50's did I seek any help.

It's ok to not be ok.

I'm not such a head downer, but I like to watch where I am walking.

On stage you need to be confident.

I tend to buy nice shoes and why not look at them.

dude...the rock'n'roll manual say you never use the stairs...you jump off stage...😜

[which is why I stopped playing rock'n'roll in my early 40s]

Now the rest of the story: the only stage I’m ever on is Sunday morning at church

According to this it thing.

not only that:

And, in case you are wondering, the word shoegaze is a misnomer: it should have been “pedalgaze,” since the guitarists in these bands are so busy stomping on effects they have to constantly stare at them – hence the genre’s name.

Not that I was wondering. I now keep my pedals at arms length. Easier to tweak.
