Moderators ThudMaker Posted December 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted December 24, 2020 I just bought one of these and am in tone heaven. It has everything including the on board FX loop which goes to an Eventide ModFactor. This is a new setup for me and sounds even better than my favorite amp I had, which was a Mesa M Pulse 600. Also had a Mesa WalkAbout 12. I would use a Boss VF-1 in the FX loop, as I used Chorus, Flange, Phaser and Slow Gear (AutoSwell) on occasion. I may have to figure something else out for the AutoSwell. It will take me a bit of time to get the ModFactor FX to my liking, as I had been using it for guitar, but the EBS preamp is feature rich. The compressor is musical and with a quick test drive it does not appear to negatively impact tone. On board tuner, drive channel with blend. Multiple outs. with two XLR one for straight tone and one for post eq/fx same as heading to the amp. https://ebssweden.com/content2/effects/ebs-microbass-3-professional-outboard-preamp/
Moderators isaac42 Posted December 27, 2020 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2020 It's upside down, and it has too many knobs!

That is rather a lot of knobs, isn't it? I guess you could play a P-Bass through it and everything would balance out.
