Members muratti
can someone suggest me a decent comp/limiter/gate to use with this mic for live setting. the vocalist has very powerful vocals and the peaks are terrible through a behringer compressor..before when using the shure sm58 there were no such problems, but the overall sound was worse...now the sound of the vocals is brilliant but the only problem are the peaks..so i need a new comp/limiter/gate...any suggestions?... Members agedhorse
Ummmm I assume you are going into a console and the comp is inserted right? And that you have control over the gain and volume of that channel right? You have the ability to reduce the input gain right? The brand of comp isn't going to solve your problem, which is unrelated to the comp itself.
