Members metalshred
Just got a set of Fender Original '57/'62 pickups. Guitar shop told me it'd take 2 weeks to install them, I obviously couldn't wait so ordered some soldering tools and did the job myself within 3 hours. Not bad for a first timer Anyway - this is what it sounds like (or at least the neck, which is what I play on most of the time these days): I really like how dynamic these pickups are. Very clean, very chimey.
Members Mikeo
Sounds good. I have a 57 strat RI I bought in 1984 and a 62 RI strat RI bought in the mid 80's. I'm not sure what they used for pups, or the windings values.

Reissues are great guitars, they give a taste of the vintage guitars without the hefty price.
