Hello! Looking for advice for my voice and falsetto

There are all these different definitions of falsetto knocking around, but what you did in that clip is how I would define falsetto.

At 0:40 I'd say you nailed the transition into the falsetto. It sounded very well controlled with that tiny overlap as your chest voice receded. Very smooth.

0:51 - "long" - sharper transition, nice effect - again smooth.

(0:47 - "need" - I think the -ee- vowel is a bit more challenging.)

I don't think you are coming out of the falsetto phrases as smoothly as you are going into them, though. As with any kind of descent, the air pressure has to be released gently so that you avoid any tendency to collapse out. Even though you are back to chest voice, you have to "pretend" you are still in falsetto for half a second, to more "gradually" adjust the breath support, and smooth the transition.

Checked out your recording.

Overall I like the vocal in full voice. The falsetto part is not bad. I feel it could be better if you transition back into a mix voice on the last note. I feel that the falsetto is being dragged too low and its making the voice cut out a bit. For example:

-I can say that loving you is easy

-I don't need to prove a single thing

-Somewhere along the way I guess you got under my skin

... and so on throughout this melody
