Members Chordite
This turned up in my yt suggestions, maybe because someone at youtube has heard me play. Anyway I found it had a strange addictive quality that is impossible to rationally explain. Zappa rated them. I think it has something to with it's total honesty, completely untouched by "the industry". The back story is quite bizarre. This is what happens when you force your unmusical daughters to make an album because a fortune teller told you they would start a band. Members 6down1togo
Whenever I have a moment of self doubt about my own playing. I go to The Shaggs for inspiration and realize I'm not that bad. I remember getting 3 buddies together to play a birthday party back in middle school. We sounded just like that. Phil O'Keefe
I feel bad for them that their dad insisted on them being musicians. It's kind of the reverse of what often happens, if you stop and think about it - usually parents try to discourage their kids from becoming musicians - at least vocationally. Moderators daddymack Posted March 28, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 28, 2019 Like the old joke...Kid: 'Mom, Dad, when I grow up I wanna be a musician...'Dad: 'make up yer mind, you can't do both...'Mom: 'Do you know the difference between a musician and a large pizza? Teh pizza can feed a family of four...'
