Members joerich5
I've rested my voice for half a week now until I tried to sing today. I'm a big David Archuleta fan so he became one of my singing influences. I've always been amazed by his ease in his upper register (pop-music wise). So just a minute ago, I tried to sing this part of his song "Barriers" () (where he hits a C5 in the syllable "Ba" and sustains a Bb4 in "ers") just for fun and to my surprise, I actually did it (https://vocaroo.com/i/s1pho6oSn7YU) without sounding too shouty and ugly. When I hit the note, it felt different from what I used to do when I go to my upper register. It's like I didn't pull too much chest to make it sound belty (probably because I'm kind of sick right now - a blessing in disguise) but yeah, I was just happy I managed to record it successfully. I hope my technique continues to improve and so does everyone else's. Just a question, did it sound fitting to my timbre and do you think I'm tenor? Thanks! Members kickingtone
Yup, sounds like you nailed it, pitch and tone. Great feeling isn't it, when you make a break through.
