RIP Mark Hollis (TalkTalk)

I don't usually do RIP threads but sometimes a musician has such an impact, not just producing great music but reaching into your heart, even forty years on. From the affirming energy of It's my life to the poignancy of I believe in you, a cry from the heart about losing his brother to heroin addiction.

A Christian man who gave up the music industry because he felt he couldn't raise his kids properly as an absent father on the road.

A true creative mind who fought his label to maintain his art. Remembered for both the songs and his unique voice.
