We have our BP892 go out at my church so we are looking to replace it. My pastor wasnt a huge fan of the 892 since it just kinda hung over his ear and liked to swing away from his face sometimes. The cable clip must be used with either the 892 or 893 mic, otherwise the weight of the cable will cause movement on the ear. 2. The shorted boom will reduce the gain before feedback by roughly 6dB compared with the 892 3. For sweaters, the element may be more vulnerable in that position.
