Members FloridaFrailer
I wondered how many working musicians migrated for gigs? Do you follow the tourist? In Florida, the north end and the south end have mirror seasons. NW Florida's season is in the summer while S Florida's season is winter. It's been an exceptionally good season in NW Florida this year.. just debating hanging out for the doldrums of winter.

Members FloridaFrailer
I went to Homestead 2 years ago. Traded my stay at the RV park for a playing Christmas music for snowbirds. Called on about 40 places before I went. Got 5 responses.. all letting me know they had it covered. Started calling on them about a month and a half out. I've read on here that many from that area use agents. I'm thinking I should be calling on agents rather than venues when entering a new market. Would be nice to find an agent who could cover multiple markets. The one I use in NWFLA works mostly in this area. Hope all is well Voltan... miss seeing you at those late night open mics!
