Members gibsonjumbo200 Posted March 12, 2011 Members Share Posted March 12, 2011 Hey everyone! at a gig last night we were trying to get our monitor mixes on stage and I have no output on my aux outputs 3 and 4. aux 1 and 2 work just fine but i had to stick my drummer and bassist and I all on aux 2 so we had to share the same mix... is this going to be a costly repair for the board, or is there some sort of troubleshooting I can do?? Members Shaster Posted March 12, 2011 Members Share Posted March 12, 2011 Are you sure your aux sends aren't working? How did you ascertain that? I was on a gig last night where someone told me the monitor send wasn't working. I suspected it was most likely a cable issue. Luckily for us I was right. Have you cross checked your sends? In other words, does your aux 3 and 4 monitor amp/speakers... work from the aux one and two sends. Do the aux 1 and 2 monitor amp/speakers fail with the aux 3 and 4 sends? If not the problem is most likely after the sends - unless it's both your sends and your monitors, not all that likely. Could it also be an assign issue, aux masters up, AFL off, or some other routing mistake or..... EDIT - if aux 3 and 4 are post fader, did you have the faders up?
