Members moogerfooger
The wife got me a iPad Pro for Xmas. Turns out it works pretty good as a synth host. My m3 is iOS compatible so with an apple camera connect adapter I attached the pad to the keyboard and sure enough I was able to play the moog model 15 app and a mini clone app and some others. I run the audio out of the pad in into one of sampling inputs on the Korg which opens up other possibilities to further process the audio. Switching between apps can be messy so I’m using garage band kinda like main stage. It’s working quite well and I don’t have to cart my vintage mini to gigs. Btw - the model 15 is off the hook. What an awesome emulation. All the mojo of a moog modular at a fraction of the cost.
Phil O'Keefe
I just might have to give that Model 15 app a try - thanks for the recommendation!
Members moogerfooger
It’s interesting that the Arturia mini doesn’t work as an audio units device but the SEM does. To mini only appears as an inter app audio device so using it in GarageBand is cumbersome but not undooable
