Members tomyco 0
I have a music library interested in one of my songs and they are asking what genre is the song. I always have trouble with my songs and genres. I would appreciate input on what they think this genre category fits. They are also asking for the BMP's and the time. I'm not sure how to figure the BMP's and time is. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks! Song is Man in the Moon www.reverbnation.com/tomtomstudios
Moderators daddymack 3,199 Posted December 23, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2017 I would call this 'singer songwriter' or 'folk/pop'...the BPM is easy: use a stop watch [you probably have one on you phone], count the beats over a minute.

Members 1001gear 869
Right off the bat I hear folk rock but I think one might also consider the "preset" categories as that's what people will be browsing.
Members jaxjaxon 0
4/4 time at 2 sec apart you could call that Folk, soft rock that's the song man in the moon But it could be produced different and make it Lullaby or spycadelic ever straight Country
