Members davd_indigo
It annoying to say the least. I don't think that I flipped the settings. I googled and if I'm not mistaken I read something about non-touch-screens would be reverting to the home screen tiles. I'm not a technical wonk. I usually just figure out how to do what I need or want to do and leave it at that. I'll eventually figure out how to get my Start menu and icon screen back.. If I learn for sure that this was imposed on me by Microsoft without asking me, I'll be a great candidate for alternatives (Chrome OS) down the line in the future. UPDATE: I learned that clicking the Notifications icon on the bottom right and turning "tablet mode" off fixed the problem. I would have deleted my post if I'd seen a delete option. Sorry. CMS Author MikeRivers Posted August 27, 2017 CMS Author Share Posted August 27, 2017 You accidentally installed Windows 10. Re-install Windows XP and you'll be fine (except for all the programs you'll be finding that don't run on it)
