Members Etienne Rambert
I've never recorded anything worth a damn that didn't use the K1 default string pad patch. I've owned a few. Am shopping for another one now but the price on these things is going up . Thanks to Chris Nova's web page. http://www.oldschooldaw.com/forums/i...p?topic=2247.

Members Etienne Rambert
If there's a better-sounding digital string pad patch, I've never heard it. That one patch alone is worth a rack space. The attack on mine is softer than this sample. But this mp3 patch shows how it can hang back and hover over a mix. It has a brooding presence that can bring gravity and depth to any recording. Notice how warm and round the high-end is. Ease off on the attack and the rest is analogue string pad perfection
