Members BillESC
I provided sound and lighting for the Chesapeake Academy's fundraising auction last Saturday. This annual event raises over 125K in one night.

Members Shaster
So how's business these days Bill? I'm noticing that with the advent of "idiot proof" PA's, some groups are choosing to do their own sound. It's normally not great, but they don't seem to care. Of course, I'm not talking about events like the one in this thread. I'm also noticing that my band gigs (when I get them) are often mixer, mics and stands. Many venues have FOH and such. Well actually there aren't that many places anymore...
Members BillESC
Fortunately, business is steady. I don't do band gigs as there is little money for the hours needed. Installs keep coming in, yesterday I quoted a sound system for a commercial facility and received an email informing me that a local school has found the money to upgrade their gym lighting from 400w metal halide to 220w LED. It will about double the light level in the room. Next week I'm providing audio and video to a remote overflow room for a high school graduation, it will be the 5th year in a row.
