Members ERock82
I've been playing an 18" Zildjian Projection Crash and an 18" Zildjian A Custom Medium Crash for years now. My 18" Projection just cracked so am going to replace. The thought of getting the 17" Projection occurred to me. It sounds good but I'm not sure. I play hard rock and metal and don't know if I really want to add a 3rd crash because I also use a 16" china. I'm wondering if only having 2 crashes and playing heavy music makes sense to have two 18" crashes or a 17" and 18". I'm thinking if only 2 crashes then the bigger the better for more power but I also think the 17" may compliment better with the 18".
Members 1001gear
Ultimately the material will decide.
Members Dendy Jarrett
Or (based on the music you play) you could go with an 18" and 20" crash. Bigger sizes are in for almost all genres right now. D
