Members AlamoJoe Posted November 11, 2016 Members Posted November 11, 2016 His music was a constant source of fascination for me. He had always seemed an ancient ........His singing became something I wanted so badly to emulate, especially over the last twenty years when my own voice dropped in register. He had an abundance of world weary wise/cool. The world is a lesser place without him in it....But I'm so very glad he left the same way Bowie did...He left us with a new album.

Members sharkbait Posted November 19, 2016 Members Posted November 19, 2016 I've come to love his work mainly through covers by others, but my sympathies to those of you who are passionate fans- I can see how you would connect with such great poetry and personality. Dunno if any of you know about this- the underground legend ice skater Gary Beacom choreographed one of his witty, eccentric, technically dazzling routines to "I'm Your Man". Amazing.
