Members stickboymusic
Been digging round the vaults I will just leave this here: " A collection of old home recordings from 2005 - 2006. I listen back to these and can't believe it has been 10 years. This is the sound of me discovering recording, songwriting and my own style. I have very fond memories of this time in my life, i even jacked my job in and did the band full time, played with some great people (jim noir, liam frost, cherry ghost, the kooks, and the list goes on) Sometimes i will listen to these songs for inspiration in my new stuff. I think I have come a long way as a songwriter but at the same time there is something quite magical(at least for me) in the naivety of these songs, the roughness, the realness. Something about not having the option to make everything perfect. It was just me a couple of guitars, a melodica, a bass, a glock and drum machine. In many ways I feel like I am sharing a family photo album with you. I hope you find something you enjoy in it." https://soundcloud.com/stickboy/sets/the-archives-2005-2006
