Phil O'Keefe Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I thought this was kind of interesting... [video=youtube;iKBpUrAapX8]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKBpUrAapX8&feature=youtu.be
Members 1001gear Posted July 16, 2016 Members Posted July 16, 2016 Some scientist once mused that humans would evolve (the word has since been corrected to devolve) into a thumb switch flipping thumb or something less misquoted. I'm sticking with guitar keys and drums.
Members UstadKhanAli Posted July 16, 2016 Members Posted July 16, 2016 Many of those instruments are intellectually interesting. But they are mostly similar in approach, being alternate MIDI controllers. Also....the music just sounds like a**.
Members ggm1960 Posted July 16, 2016 Members Posted July 16, 2016 I love technology and new things but I can't really see any of these as much more than a music toy that would get old fast.
Moderators daddymack Posted July 16, 2016 Moderators Posted July 16, 2016 seems these are [as they said in the Remidi and Mogee ads] designed for non-musicians, and as such, IMHO. do not really meet the definition of a 'musical instrument'. This is just the next evolutionary step in the Guitar Hero psychosis...which is not to say that eventually someone won't find a truly musical value for something like the Artiphon or the Ototo [a name which will garner snickers in the Philippines].
