Then hip people started playing them because they were unhip, which made the players hip, and so the keyboards became hip. These are all hand-built, with a new neck design, and slightly slimmer body designed to be more comfortable to play. FYI a lot of people asked whether these also have automatic tuning, like the High Performance electric guitars, but they have manual tuning. This uses a thermal aging process that accelerates the way wood ages, so a new guitar coming "out of the box" has the same tonal richness as a vintage J-200.
