Members agedhorse
I thought you were going to have candles light your rack! I have a lava lamp at FOH, left over from a BE, a gift he brought me... after the last show where we were having a really good time screwing around and cracking jokes the entire load-in. I had worked with him several times before and he has always had a really good time here so he thought my FOH needed some decorating. These are the kind of gigs where it's not uncommon to go out to dinner and have a beer or two talkig about all kinds of interesting subjects. I was part of a circuit where just about everybody on the crews were college graduates and the topics that got debated were wide ranging. Always a good time... much of this has slowed down with both the economy and age as older folks generally try to avoid the road under these conditions. Members scarecrowbob
Our string quartet played the tree lighting ceremony at LBJ Nat'l Park last week, and they placed us in the "living history" farm... the centerpiece of that house was a tree with actual candles. The big anachronism in the house was the fire extinguisher behind the door .
