Will result in very poor results.

 

What will happen is a reverse-phased summing, which will cancel any center-panned material. That's also generally the stuff that's considered most important. A lot of vocal-removal tools work via that method.

If you look at the spec listings the ZX1a has a combo xlr/trs for the line input, and a second xlr for the mic input. The cable you referenced in your first post shows a trs to rca stereo cable, which is not the same thing as a balanced cable. To get both left and right channels of a stereo signal into one powered speaker you would need some sort of mixing capabilities. A small two channel mixer such as the Rolls would work.
