I read somewhere on the internet (so it must be true) that to wish someone a Merry Christmas is considered bad form in the USA. 'Happy Holidays' is much more PC

If this is indeed true, then it's a very sorry state of affairs

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all who post on Harmony Central, be you atheist, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, or whatever :)

It's only considered "bad form" when those doing the wishing have a political agenda. :)

Or, to put it another way, I've never witnessed anyone who ws offended by being wished a "Merry Christmas", but I certainly have witnessd those who take offense to being told "Happy Holidays" at Christmastime.

The world (or at least the USA) was a much better place when everyone wasn't so easily offended.

Along with my well wishes for Christmas and the new year I also would like to thank everyone here for a most delightful year at SSS. You have been funny, supportive and educational and I'm proud to be included.

Cheers,
