Members Belva
This be the critter. I'd like to find a neck pup that balances well this. I have a 'bucker route for the neck in a tele project and would like to use a full size humbucker, but maybe a mini humbucker? P90? I'd really like to use a PAF type, but I'm open to suggestions. Members Verne Andru
No suggestions for a tele, but I did put one in the bridge of my Strat with Mojotone 50's Custom Wounds in middle and neck. I chose the little 59er so I could stay close to "normal" Strat tones when it was split, and get a nice vintage bucker when not and it does that well. So I guess it really depends on what you're going for in the first place.
Members billybilly
The obvious answer in a 59 bucker in the neck. I find them quite scooped, so if you like that, do it. If you like your midrange, don't do it.
Members onelife
how about a little '59 strat pickup in the neck position on your tele?

Members Belva
how about a little '59 strat pickup in the neck position on your tele? What I'd really like is a chrome full sized humbucker for the neck. One that balances well with the '59 and has a PAF tone. I have the bridge pup already. Members badpenguin
Or a Duncan P-Rails. While NOT covered, you can get the strat, hum, P90 sounds.
Members Zoobiedood
I'd go with either a 59 for a more open sound, or for a more buttery, sweet tone, a Seth Lover. They sound great in the neck of a Tele.
Members GAS Man
I'd be tempted to either go with a P-90 or some scattered wound pickup like a Burstbucker 1 or equivalent. You could also consider a Lollar Imperial, but then you'd need a bit larger rout.
