Members Mark L Posted December 5, 2015 Members Posted December 5, 2015 This always does it for me, and it seems that one of the violinists in this casually-dressed orchestra is quite affected, too [video=youtube;hEl4WrfX8lg]

Members Beck Posted December 8, 2015 Members Posted December 8, 2015 I got turned on to French-Canadian pop music sometime ago by a facebook friend. She was born in the US, but her parents came here from Canada and she is bilingual. Anyway, I'm always amazed when I fund stuff out there that I didn't know was out there. I speak French, but not as well as her of course, but enough to really appreciate this new (to me) found music. The words and music to this song literately brought a tear to my eye when she shared it on my timeline. I've copied and pasted the same translation she included so my non-French speaking friends could appreciate it more. She said it's close enough, but can't be completely translated word-for-word. I'm really liking this singer and some other Québécois artists that are now on my radar Enjoy! "SOUS UNE PLUIE D'ÉTOILES" (Under a Rain of Stars) CINDY DANIEL When the ocean faintsThere where the sky concludesI search on your lipsThe way of my nightsWhen it no longer remainsMore than some lost dreams. All of the words that we shareThese thoughts that bind usAre like tears in the eyesOf such precious momentsThat we would like to keepDeep inside of us, hidden. Since it's you that I loveYou who my life is lackingIf one day you as wellFeel like you love meSince it's you that I loveYou who my life is lackingWe could, togetherTry to be happy. I read in your lookA little of our storyBut the end, you knowNo one knowsDeep down in our heartsWhere the star is dying. If we aren't carefulWe could accidentallyOn the beach of confessionsErase in the sandThe dreams we made togetherUnder a rain of stars [video=youtube;FGHEiX74gzU]
