This is a rocking guitar. Its a new 2011 Traditional Gibson Les Paul. I found the guitar strap for 60.00. 2 packs monster energy Dunlop guitar strings. 3 monster energy guitar picks, 2 monster energy sweat bands sealed. 1 monster energy beach towel (nice) 1 monster energy base ball hat - total investment 1300.00. Value ?

Enjoy your Les Paul. No idea of the value. Depends on the individual. To me, it makes it worth less than a regular LP but that's me. Several years ago, there was a Fender Corona Beer acoustic as part of a display in a local supermarket and our daughter thought it was really cool.

If I remember right, it's not a Traditional, but a "Traditional Pro" - note the zebra pickups and most likely satin finished back.

As much Monster as I drink, I think it's a little silly that they put the logos on a Trad Pro. The binding doesn't really go with the graphics, a Studio would have looked fine.

My friend won this same guitar. A few years later he needed some cash and sold it to my kids for, what I understand, was an incredibly cheap price. That "paint job" is only a vinyl overlay, similar to a car wrap. My kids peeled it off and it exposed a beautiful Ebony Les Paul worth much more than a Monster Energy Drink Les Paul.
