The capsule's diaphragm diameter is 18mm (if it is based on the Blue B1 cap), which is more of a mid-sized diaphragm (about 3/4" inch), but many manufacturers have been calling 20mm diaphragms small diaphragm for years. I don't know if I like the mid rise and mid fall and the HF bump as that combination may work in some situations and not in others, and any frequency response repair (to get flat) would take some effort. The bass rolloff would help tame the proximity effect if the mic is used in the free field. I'm always looking for great mics. I'll have to give these a try.
