Members J.Paul
I really hate Reverbnation but I use it because I like some of it’s features (mainly the schedule/calendar). I have enough people who have “joined my mailing list” now (on Reverbnation) that I need to send something out. The problem is I go way out of my way to maintain a domain (which also includes my ACTUAL mailing list). I have no intention of sending out 2 mailing lists OR doing the legwork on everything else Revberbnation wants us to do for them all the time. My question is : what happens when I initiate and start the mailing list on Reverbnation? Is there a process ?Do I have to jump through hoops or just send an email ?Is it possible to harvest the names on there list ? My intent is to send something to the effect of “thanks for joining but I don’t use this Reverbnation feature, please sign up for my actual mailing list at xxxxxx ”. Of course most people won’t do it but there may be a few….. Anyone got some insight?
Members Outkaster
I never used it but I think most people have figured out it's a musicians site really. We just link it to our Facebook, but I agree the schedule calendar is cool and the site is free. Do you have a twitter feed hooked up to it?
