DRUM-CAM video Picture Me Broken Ft. Orianthi

Played with a band called Picture Me Broken over the weekend.

If any of you went to the Alice Cooper/Marilyn Manson tour in 2013, this was the opening band.

 

The song is called "White Lighter" and was written in collaboration with Manson, and features Orianthi on guitar.

Ori performed with us live at the gig also.

I don't think it has anything to do with Rose, lol....I actually don't know what the words are, other than "white lighter".

The Demo I was given to learn from had no vocals.

12, 14, 16 Toms, 22 kick w/ May mic system (Shure Beta 52).

 

5.5 x 14 Black-chrome over Brass snare w/ Black S-Hoops (Top & bottom)

*Non-Yamama, unbranded

 

3x Yamaha DTX pads (2 left of Hi Hat, 1 between Floor Toms)

For this song the pad on my right is a Bass drum, while the other 2 are a Cabassa shaker & Udu drum.

The sounds have all been EQed and manipulated with tuning, reverb, ect....

 

Cymbals:

14" Hats (A Custom Tom/Z Series Dyno-Beat bottom)

2x 20" A Custom Rezo Crashes

21" Z Custom Mega-Bell Ride

18" Oriental China Trash

18" ZHT China w/ vent holes (like the Sabian holy china)

Funny, white lighter is the only part i got too. I Googed white lighter and besides the Charmed reference, it seems, well here:

Yep! That's gotta be what the songs about. The musician myth... Part of the lyrics are "White lighter"... somthing something "in my pocket"... something "Die Young, die young"
