And now with code 10LESS you get $10 off $50 or more so that strat could be $61. Works on the pedals and stuff I posted too but I had already placed my order.

I got an email from Sweetwater that they do 10% gift certificates.

With upcoming other sales you can usually get 15% off large-ish items for 4th of July, or very often at any time just for the asking.

So if you know you want to buy that one thing soon, you can get a gift certificate for most of the amount now and save that extra 10%.

I did it last year to buy an amp. Got 10% off gift certificate (that was at MF), then got the amp at 15% off during a sale, which saved me a chunk of change.

You need to be pretty sure you're going to buy obviously, but I think Sweetwater is pretty good about price-matching the other big guys like MF and GC, so even if the other guys have it on sale, you should be good. It does sometimes get tricky when you are after something that is listed as an exclusion in the ad, even though MF or whomever will give you the discount, it's harder to prove to the other guy.

Bugera 333XL 120-Watt Head for $279

Bugera 333XL 120-Watt 2x12 Combo for $299

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ampli...mbo-amp/j21725

Not a guitar, but a solid deal for the 333XL. Part of the 4th of July special for this year. I have the 2X12 333 XL Infinium and this is a really nice combo in my opinion. I can't speak to durability of the Bugeras, but I've had mine since last fall and it hasn't had a problem. I'm running mine through a Marshall 4x12 with the stock tubes FYI. I like mine so much, if this were a deal on the 333XL Infinium head, I'd buy it just to have a spare.

The have some other solid Bugera deals, like this:

Bugera 1990 Classic 120-Watt head $199

Gibson USA LPS14OWRC1LP Standard 2014 Ocean Water Perimeter Min-ETune Solid-Body Electric Guitar (Used - Good) $1' date='788.21 [/color']

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00GPHHKGO/ref=dp_olp_used_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=used

I hate to quote my own post but this is $1700 now and if you're a prime member, you get 15% off warehouse deals today. That would make it $1445 which is a pretty good deal on a LP Standard.

Joe - I think there is only like 5 people on here now - so not a problem quoting your own post! Anyway I wish I had 1.4K.

I'm rarely on here too. Not so much because of the format changing but I'm not playing guitar as much. I happened to stumble across those last two Gibson on Amazon. Both were swooped up so somebody got them. Maybe a lurker?
