Members Glenn F
I go through the process at Yuko, or whatever it's called, try to post, get informed of a confirmation email that is allegedly sent to my email addy, go to email addy, no confirmation email, not in spam folder, not anywhere. Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat. Still no confirmation email, still no ability to post at UMGF. Any suggestions on how to get this corrected? Thanks, Glenn

Members Glenn F
Still not in, and not even a message to tell me why or why not. I don't see how they run a BBS like that, but I ain't impressed.

Members Glenn F
Ok, I received the notice from Buck that I am in, which is all well and good, but when I try to post, YUKOS or whatever it is called asks me to re-send a confirmation email, which hasn't been done. WTF?
Members kwakatak
Yuku is a clusterfuck. When you want to join a forum in Yuku, you first have to join Yuku. Then you have to join the forum. I don't know of a single instance where it has worked as advertised. I recall that there is a sticky thread somewhere on UMGF that tells you what you need to do. If you can, contact one of the admin/mods at UMGF and ask them for assistance. They've always been able to help in the past. If you can't, let me know, and I'll contact one of them for you. Yup. That's about the size of it. I find it too be a bit too parochial.
Members Glenn F
Yuku is indeed a cluster****************. I keep getting those activate account messages anytime I try to do something, even though the acc't was allegedly activated. I can't even log into their help forum to ask WTF. That prompts me for activation, as well. I give up. Bollocks on it. I have enough to worry about right now without this trivial bull****************. And the censor bot can go {censored} itself. Members Idunno
YUKU is a POS platform. I'm a member at the UMGF but I can't even edit my settings without trouble. It's like all the user features were locked out after a certain membership was established, never to be unlocked again - a la Hotel Calipornia. Plus, the place gives me the Martin lip drooler creeps. Brand near-religious behavior is just creepy. It isn't just Martin fanboys. It's anything of an inanimate nature that changes people from objective observers to emotional followers that just should not happen. But, it does and we get brand dedicated forums as a result. That's why I like(d) HC and other similar forums. They did not get mired down in that kind of narrow mindedness. The UMGF isn't a bad forum. I would just feel better being there if Martin wasn't the shingle over its entryway. IOW, I feel like a fish out of water when I visit.
