It's still a very popular song in Boston and one of my bands is adding it with a bit of a heavier hand rock flavor, albeit not the metal versions that seem to be all over YouTube.Any of you cats deliver on it? Yes it's very popular, and I bet in concert with the lights and big sound it's very cool. But if a band started playing it at a bar or club, what would you really do? Can't really sing along. Can't really dance. Maybe if you convert it to an acoustic song it could be interesting to a listening audience. You'd have to really change it up to turn it into something a crowd could get into. If I were going to try doing Imagine Dragons, I think I'd maybe go for On Top Of The World. I suppose it depends on your audience. I'm looking at it from a dance crowd point of view.
