How do you keep an overview??? thats exactly what i plan to do with the G2 (once i get one ) create controller setups for all of my softsynths and many of my soft-effects. only difference is that G2 has an incredible synth/fx engine of its own ... being able to assign and LABEL paramaters to control a softsynth.. and organize them under their appropriate menus (osc,lfo,filter,env,effect).. its just DUH why dont they do this with more midi knob/slider controllers? sure its pricier but 10000% worth it imo.
