Members blackrose
...for $550 off chrisguitars.com - hopefully will ship out today or tommorow. Haven't played this particular model (yet every Roland I've ever played I loved) Anyone own this synth or played one before?
Members sevensinner
Wow I remember those back in the early 90's. Those made great master controllers, probably one of Roland's best till the XP-80 came out. Although it's a "D" I believe it's closer to the "U" series... don't quote me on that though. Members Analog Kid
you can quote me on it... the D-70 has U guts its a good controller and a fair synth, you should like it...
Members TDman
That's right, wasn't it supposed to be called a U-50 or something originally?
Members midi
Actually the D70 was pretty much a failure for Roland, it was supposed to fix all the shortcomings of the D50 but it used the same underpowered CPU as the U20 which suffered from noticeably bad timing and other MIDI sluring problems.... Members Yoozer
Not many synths slow their LFO's down when you play chords instead of single notes... but that is, in a way, pretty cool, don't you think? Click here and check the mp3 in the attachment. That's rather a creamy sound. http://www.retrosynth.com/clips/finalexp.ram
