WTT: My Akai MPC 500 for your synth

So I have this brand new Akai MPC 500 that I got in January and have used literally twice and both times were to just turn it on. It comes with a power source, instruction manual, and quick start booklet. I'm not going to sell it outright, so please don't bother asking unless....you know, you want to give me more than $600 for it....

I'm looking to trade for a nice synth in the same general price range give or take a few hundred. So I'm willing to pay up to $400 in addition to the MPC and I'm also willing to go the other way and accept a lower priced synth plus cash on your end. I obviously would like to get $600 worth out of the MPC because it literally hasn't ever been used, but I'll entertain all reasonable offers.

I honestly still don't know exactly what synth I'm looking for, but it obviously has to work and I am a sucker for lots of knobs and ease of use. I used to have a microKorg and I hated how all the features/effects were sort of hidden/hard to mess with the sound on the fly; the MS2000 (at least compared to a micro since they share the same engine) is more along the lines of what I'd be looking for, but I don't want an MS2000 as I've already owned the micro.

Send me your offers cause I'd love to see what all is available. I'll get pics up as soon as I can, but it might be a day or two. If you don't want to PM me, which would be perfectly fine, my email address is ericbrumba@gmail.com and I'm located at 26101. Thanks.

So I've been looking on Vintage Synth Explorer and I like the Roland Jupiter series, Moogs, Access Virus B/Indigo (Keyboard versions), and Korg Poly-Six, but I'm definitely not limiting it to those select few. I have realized that I want something polyphonic, the more voices the better, and I guess I should explain that it will be used for my ambient/drone/noise project Black King Coal.
