I have a used Roland Fantom S-61 I'd like to sell. The keyboard has been stored indoors ever since I got it in late 2003. It has never been "gigged" with. I originally received the keyboard as a Christmas present when I was in highschool and I was convinced that I was destined to become America's Next John Williams... so much for that prophecy being fulfilled. In addition to the keyboard itself, I am also selling three SRX expansion boards; the keyboard can be purchased with or without the SRX boards. The three SRX boards are: 1.) Complete Orchestra; 2.) World Collection; 3.) Platinum Trax.

The keyboard functions fine aside from 2 minor issues. In the spirit of full disclosure, I'll describe them here:

1.) USB connectivity (e.g., to a computer) can be iffy. It's honestly been a while since I've tried this, but I recall that whenever I would connect the keyboard to my old computer via USB, sometimes the "USB Connection" interface would pop-up on my computer and sometimes it wouldn't. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the keyboard or my computer I had at the time. However, I have since purchased and have been using a new PC that I haven't tried connecting the keyboard to. If anyone's interested in the keyboard, I would be happy to do this (and I probably will anyways).

2.) When playing the keyboard and listening through headphones, there is sometimes a bit of static or "crackly" noise. It almost sounds as if the audio itself goes "in and out" depending on how the headphone jack itself is rotated when it's plugged into the keyboard. Otherwise, every sound on the keyboard plays and sounds just fine.

I'm selling the keyboard for $600 OBO (it originally cost $1500). It looks like the three SRX cards I have are going for right at $150 on eBay, so I'm asking for $150 for each of the SRX cards OBO.

If you'd be interested in purchasing the keyboard AND the SRX cards (all three), the whole lot is yours for $1,000 OBO.

I have never really shipped anything of this nature before, so I'm not sure what shipping would cost at this point. However, there's a listing for a Fantom S-61 on eBay which lists shipping costs to be around $73, so I imagine it would cost about the same amount.

Thanks for reading, and please feel free to post any questions you might have regarding the keyboard.
