Is there a way to edit P120 voices?

While I like the Yamaha P120 since it is a decent compromise between voice quality, touch and light weight, I'm wondering if there's a way to design a voice on a softsynth (or rack-mount) and park it in one the P120's presets so a button-push would call up the new voice rather than the factory voice for that button (i.e., substitite a new voice instead of the factory's harpsichord, for example).

I use the P120 as a controller, but wonder if one could lighten up a gig rig by not having to take a rack-mount along, just the P120 with owner-customized presets.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

i would say no.

AFAIK preset voices have to be specifically designed to work with the p120's architecture, so a self-designed softsynth voice won't work.

what you are asking for then is sampling capability, which the p120 doesn't have.
