First up is a 1970s Yamaha SB-800S "SuperBass" Be the only kid on your block to own this piece of musical history. I ordered this online from a guy in Japan who sells a lot of basses that were only ever offered in Japan. I heard somewhere that Sting used to play one of these with the Police but I can't testify to the validity of that statement. These sweet babies were only sold in Japan between 1976 and 1979. These are extremely difficult to find but they are loaded with cool features and produce killer tone.
