Members Jisch
I am selling one of my basses to fund the building of my next one. New Hartford CT made, red burst Ovation Viper with the classic Ovation leaf inlay on the upper part of the body. This is a "rare bird", I have never seen another one like it. I got it direct from Kaman Music for some volunteer work I did for them, it was used in an ad campaign for them so they couldn't sell it as new. The list price on it was $2,200 at the time. I'm asking $750, buyer pays shipping - suspect it would be $25-50. It sounds and plays great and is in practically like new condition, I really can't find any flaws other than a bit of pitting on the machine heads and some slight cracking in the fretboard. Comes with a hardshell case, that is not in great condition - that's the way I got it. It sounds really great when plugged in, a very warm acoustic-y tone. It sounds good acoustic, but honestly its not super loud. I've used it once or twice at band practice, and I think I recorded a song with it once, other than that it's really been a show piece sitting in my living room.
