Has maple fretboard with nice grain. There is a volume control, tone control and a 3-way pickup selector mini toggle switch. The selector switch lets you choose between neck pickup, both pickups or bridge pickup. The tone knob let's you roll highs and lows adding even more tonal variety to the passive G&L MFD pickups. These G&L basses are hot. Just over 9 lbs on digital bathroom scale. Very well maintained with no gouges, excessive wear or smoke. Its currently strung with a new set of Elixer strings. This SB-2 is a great player in excellent condition. Comes with TKL soft shell case. A lot of bass for the money.
